THE COURT FOR LAST CHANCES

What if the justice system got it wrong and you were the last person who could fix it?

Steve Lansford planned on Big Law and a powerful career. Instead, a contract job in criminal habeas law pulls him into a broken system filled with desperate clients and forgotten cases.

When he represents Carlos Vega, a man who pled guilty to a murder he did not commit, Steve uncovers corruption, false confessions, and institutional indifference that reach far beyond one conviction. With witnesses at risk and powerful forces working to keep the truth buried, he must decide what kind of lawyer and man he is willing to be.

A gripping legal thriller about wrongful conviction, moral courage, and the true cost of justice.

WHAT’S IN THE WORKS?

I just finished a first draft of my latest novel, “A Case to Die For.” It is a combination of a legal thriller, murder mystery and psychological thriller. I have had a lot of fun writing it; now I need to spend the Summer editing and rewriting each chapter. I hope to have this new project available around the new year. I will keep you posted. Thank you all for your support. TF
